These boots are made from hemp with metallic faux leather linings and yes, are 100% vegan (no leather) by Sui Generis (valued at $685).  Wow…$685? That’s a serious premium to pay for non-leather shoes.  Beautiful as they are, are they worth $685?

   i know, right? i’m really getting tired of eco-friendly companies charging such a premium on their products.  they’re probably hand-made, in small numbers, etc., and i could maybe go for a $300 price tag, but not $700…no way.  it’s a good thing she’s giving them away LOL
