There’s something so beautiful about a unique pair of jeans. Don’t get me wrong, I love my J Brands and Earnest Sewns. They’re a great fit and their simplicities are what make them interesting. But these? They’re unlike any pair of jeans I’ve owned before, not only in style but in creation.
I was sent the jeans you see above, the Janis Straight Leg, and I’m impressed to say the least. There’s a lot of detailing and construction that has gone into this pair… especially for the more affordable price point (the brand runs in the $99 – $125 range).
The lighter thigh with hip whiskering really thins out the thigh, and the inseam (about 33″) is easily hemmed. But the truly exciting part is above the thigh. The stitching at the hip and back pockets actually help make your butt look more defined without looking larger (something that’s awesome for a tush like mine), and the waistband does two things: first, it creates the look of a tapered waist and second, the wider waistband helps prevent the “muffin top” look we all hate so much.
As an established brand in Europe (but made in the USA), H.A 67 is about to make one hell of a splash here in the states.
